If your children show any symptoms of illness, stay home. We'll happily assign a make-up token.
Send your children with their own water bottle. (The drinking fountain will be out of order)
If your child is under 7 years old, please assist them during their water/bathroom break, because coaches will be busy disinfecting mats.
Please send athletes with a small bag in which they can carry a water bottle, grips, athletic braces/bandages (if needed), and athletic tape. They will carry this bag with them from one event to another, so please keep it small.
We recomend Drop Off/Pick Up student for training if able.
No more than 1 adult per child in the building.
Perform a temperature check at our automatic temperature check station. Upon receiving a green light, proceed into the lobby and await for the rope to be opened a few minutes before class.
Temperature check of students; athletes who appear ill or who have a temp over 100.4º will be sent home.
Students will be required to sanitize/wash hands upon entering gym.
Traffic flow, Distancing
When the rope is lowered:
Students ages 3 to 5 (except white/yellow Ninjas) and their parent or guardian, may proceed down the hallway to the small entry door to the gym. REMOVE SHOES, pick them up and carry them with you as you enter the gym area and follow Bumblebee Line around the pre-primary floor space to the designated viewing area. This is for ALL students ages 3 to 5. One parent per student is required to remain in attendance for the duration of their class, and must be seated in the designated viewing area by the floor. Please do not bring extra family members. Doing so will make it impossible for us to ensure social distancing between members of different households, and will put us over the desired capacity limit. *Please note: for our morning classes, parents of student ages 3 to 5 may sit in the upstairs viewing area because there are no other classes going on during that time.
Students ages 6 and up, and Ninjas ages 5 and up: should move into the next hallway, or if directed, into the bathroom hallway, and leave shoes and water bottles on a spot. Parents remaining in the building should move on down the main hall and up the stairs, and find a seat, observing the marks for social distancing. There are additional seats available in the small corner room on the far side of the viewing area. If all marked spots are taken, we ask that you kindly await for your child in your car. We do advise that it is best for parents of students over the age of 8, to await in their cars.
Athletes will sanitize/wash hands (supervised) after every rotation.
Lesson plans will be modified to omit partner activities.
Lesson plans will be modified to limit use of props.
Props will be sanitized after each individual student’s use.
Stations and activities will be modified to allow safe distance between children.
Grips will be kept in separate bag to be carried on their person rotation to rotation.
Student ratios and stations will be modified in class programming.
Students will be released into the hallway where their belongings were left. If parents are in the facility, they should come down and meet their children and then proceed down the hallway between the restrooms and our front office, and exit through our side exit. Please DO NOT exit through the main lobby and door! At the time you are leaving there will be other students and parents arriving, and we need to keep the number of people in the lobby at one time to a minimum.
We encourage you to not linger in the lobby area and keep proper distancing.
Employees will begin disinfecting/sanitizing all areas of their department immediately to get ready for next group
